Being in the position of being the youth NGO connected to the United Nations for those UN organizations in Vienna the United Nations Youth and Student Association of Austria - Academic Forum for Foreign Affairs (UNYSA-AUSTRIA - AFA) has decided to begin setting up Youth Caucuses fpr these organizations.

Starting with two of the biggest organizations in Vienna - the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) - UNYSA Austria will start providing information about the activities of these organizations and their topics as well helping to provide a platform for young people to these topics.

Topics being discussed within UNODC are drugs, corruption, technical aspects of terrorism, money laundering, human trafficking, arms trafficking and others.

For UNIDO, please visit:

Topics being discussed at UNIDO involve sustainable industrial development, climate change issues, financing of industrial development projects, agricultural industry and others.

I hope to meet you all at these two caucuses. The one other big organization which is also located in Vienna is the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) responsible when it comes to all nulcear weapon inspections. Depending on the feasibility UNYSA Austria will of course think of setting up such a youth caucus as well.
